The International Steering Committee has decided to offer a special discounted registration fee for students, who are citizen AND enrolled at a university in one of the following countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, and Tanzania. Please see special terms and conditions below.

The number of regional student registrations is limited to 25 early bird registrations and 25 regular registration and will be available until respectively March 31 and May 31 or until sold out.

*Students are kindly requested to upload a letter (pdf format) with the university's letterhead and signed by the professor proofing the student status. Otherwise, the student registration will not be accepted. The registration will be pending until the Organizer has approved the status.

Registration terms and conditions*

• All registration fees are quoted and will be charged in EURO.  
• Please read carefully the letter of confirmation and contact the participants@discongress.com immediately in case of any discrepancies.
• Payment by bank transfer is accepted until May 31, 2026. 
• Payment in any other currency will not be accepted. 
• Banks charges and currency exchange charges are at the delegates own expense and should be factored in when transferring funds to ensure the full registration fee is received into the conference bank account.
• All payments must be made upon receipt of invoice.
• Electronic invoice (EAN/GLN) a fee of EUR 55 will be charged. Only for participants related to Danish educational institutions. If the EAN invoice is rejected due to incorrect information, such as an invalid EAN number or address, an additional fee of EUR 20 will apply.

Registration cancellation terms & conditions*  

• Notice of cancellation must be sent by email to the participants@discongress.com
• Cancellations received
• up to March 31, 2026 (11:59 PM CET): full refund except of an administration fee at EUR 50.
• Up to May 31, 2026 (11:59 PM CET): 50% will be refunded. 
• from June 1, 2026: no refund will be made.
• If you cannot attend, you are welcome to pass on your full registration to a colleague. Name change is free of charge until May 31. Name change from June 1 will be charged at EUR 30
• No‐shows will not receive a refund.
• Please allow up to 4 weeks to receive any refunds

VISA for Tanzania*

VISA applicants are strongly encouraged to visit the official Tanzania VISA Application System to obtain information about how to apply for visa and pay attention to the Application Guidelines and Terms & Conditions. Applicants are also encouraged to start the application process as early as possible. Neither the S4H International Steering Committee, the Seaweed4Health 2026 Conference nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for the VISA application process and undertake any contact to the Immigration Authorities in Tanzania.

Liability Waiver*

The safety and well-being of our attendees is our top priority. The conference is committed to providing a safe environment for the event and will make every reasonable effort to do so. However, as an attendee, you must fully understand and knowingly, voluntarily, and irrevocably assume all risk related to entry into, and presence in, at and around the event venue(s), which may include an increased risk of exposure to communicable diseases. As an attendee, you hereby accept personal responsibility for your voluntary participation in the event and assume all responsibility of claims and potential claims relating to any risks and hazards of attendance.

Insurance*

Participants are strongly requested to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance. Neither the S4H International Steering Committee, the Seaweed4Health 2026 Conference nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for non-refundable payments in event of cancellation prior to arrival, damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
